Here’s the last part of my Jackie Chan marathon (now I’m doing the Sammo Hung one, so I can continue the Lucky Stars saga).
Little Big Soldier: His last excellent movie. I’m glad he picked the same director for the Police Story this year. It’s buddy movie in ancient China, comedy, action, and a surprising ending. Very good. 16/20
Dragon Lord: In 1982, with Dragon Lord, Jackie says good bye to classical Kung Fu Comedy and introduces his crazy stunts. Some parts of the movie are very good, but the two stories in the movie don’t always go together, too bad. 13/20
Thunderbolt: He did this movie after his accident on Rumble in The Bronx. Some surprisingly violent scenes for a Jackie Chan, 2 great fights, but the ending is bad. 13/20
The Protector: Coproduction between HK and The States, it’s a weird mix between Chan’s style and a classic American thriller, and the mix is not always great. 08/20
Winners and Sinners: The First Lucky Stars movie. Jackie has a small part in it, for the action sequences, but it’s more of a comedy, and a very funny one. Stanley Fung and Richard Ng are just awesome in it. 16/20
The Young Master: Chan’s first movie as a director for Golden Harvest in 1980. A classic Kung-Fu Comedy, with very funny parts and one of the longest final fight ever. 16/20
Heart of Dragon: In 1985, Sammo Hung decided to do a dramatic movie with some violent action in the end. Jackie is his brother, a cop, and Sammo is retarded. A very sad movie about people who are different. Sad and great. 16/20
Twinkle Twinkle Lucky Stars: The third movie. Still funny thanks to the cast (Richard Ng is the best), and a great final fight in the end between Sammo Hung and Richard Norton. 14/20
My Lucky Stars: The second movie. And the best, simply! Funny from the beginning till the end, very impressive ending scene in a theme park. All good. 17/20
Paper Marriage: Ok, Jackie is not on this one xD. A good comedy, with Sammo Hung getting married to Maggie Cheung. Alfred Cheung directed it (On The Run, it was him), and the movie is very entertaining. 14/20

You can see the emotion when Abi talks about Ouran High School Club xD
